[ He's painfully obvious in so many ways. Kristoff chews on the inside of his cheek for a moment or two, looking at his hands because that somehow feels a little easier as he tries to put the words together. ]

She didn't have anyone there to take care of her because all her friends were sick too, I guess. [ He has no idea about how the death flu works, clearly. ] So I put her back to resting and she asked if I'd stay and watch one of those uh— moving pictures? The ones on the box thing. [ The name's on the tip of his tongue but he's got nothing. ] I think she didn't want to be alone and she's been so nice, it felt wrong to just leave when she didn't have anyone to make sure she could get rest, and since it's her house I let her pick the— movie! That's the word. I let her pick the movie. You'd really like it, it was like Cinderella, only they took out all the dumb stuff with the Prince running around trying to get every girl in the kingdom to try on the shoe when anyone could have that shoe size—

[ Hey that's not the point here, Kristoff. He knows it's the same nervous rambling he's always prone to, the sort that had showed up the night he'd introduced her to his family and still cropped multiple times since then. He stops himself short and clears his throat. ]

A-Anyway, when the movie was starting, I think she was tired maybe, because she kind of... laid her head on my shoulder... and just... stayed there. [ An awkward beat. ] A while. [ Another tense pause. ] For most of the movie, I guess.

[ He can feel his face is hot and he's sure that it might be pink with embarrassment. He's not used to these kinds of things and he hadn't known how to react to it all. It hadn't felt bad by any means, but it was entirely unfamiliar from anyone but Anna. And he knew she remembered even that had sometimes taken a while for him to not awkwardly tense over. ]

It wasn't anything, she seems like she just really likes being close to people, but since we were alone, I guess it felt like something I should, I dunno... tell you.
